Barbara and her husband Bryan have been residents of Senoia since 1997 (Bryan) and 1998 (Barbara). Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Barbara moved to Georgia with Delta Air Lines in 1993 when the Delta Air Lines Reservations office in Memphis closed. She spent five years in Fayetteville before making Senoia her home.
Barbara has a BS of Elementary Education but instead of teaching in an elementary school, she spent her career in corporate training. She spent 26 years at Delta Air Lines, retiring in 2004 as the Learning Leader for Sales and Distribution. She spent the next seven years at Citigroup where she was the Director of Learning Strategy, Standards and Innovation. She spent her last seven years in corporate America at Cox Communications, in Dunwoody, as the Director of Training for Cox products.
Barbara spends her time in Senoia enjoying being a docent with the Senoia Historical Museum. Barbara also is a member of the Senoia Garden Club. She volunteers with the I58 Mission where she is currently maintaining the mission’s database. Barbara is a board member of the Coweta Residential Care Facilities Authority where she participates in decisions that impact Coweta’s seniors living in senior facilities. She and Bryan are members of First Baptist Church of Senoia. Barbara and Bryan have been married 20 years and share four children and five grandchildren.
